What to verify for Terengganu
- What is the state weekend? No Terengganu state page confirms the weekend. - How do delegates arrive by air? The CAAM aeronautical information publication lists Sultan Mahmud Airport at Kuala Terengganu, operated by Malaysia Airports, and gives a reference distance of 6.7 km from Kuala Terengganu. That is a reference distance, not a travel time. Ask Malaysia Airports and the airlines about services on your dates.
- Can delegates arrive by the East Coast Rail Link? Check Malaysia Rail Link (MRL) for the opening date, stations and timetable before you list it as an option.
- Which council covers the venue? The Kuala Terengganu City Council (MBKT) portal gives an address at Menara MBKT, Jalan Warisan Tanjung 1, and has licensing and rentals sections. The state portal links to a list of local authorities. Ask the venue for its full address, then confirm the council on its portal.
- Which venue? Tourism Terengganu says Taman Tamadun Islam (the Islamic Civilisation Park) has a convention centre that can host weddings and banquets. Confirm the operator and the capacity with the venue. Ask any venue for current hall details, rooms, hours and loading in writing.
- What help is available for business events? No Terengganu convention bureau is listed on the official sites. Ask Tourism Terengganu or the State Secretary's Office whether there is a business-events contact.
